"Avenue Bruise" is a record that, even after repeated listens, may give you more questions than answers. Again, the basic drum tracks were recorded at Verdant Studios, with Pete Weiss at the Neve. Basic tracks also included multiple percussion and vibraphone overdubs, which formed important bits in the progression of the story, even if they ended up being used in radically different sections than originally intended. This record has an intense energy to it, and it's the only solo record I have done to this point that had no intention of being performed live - it is totally a product of the studio.
