Splinter took the better part of 2009 to compose, record, and mix. The recording phase of this project began in March 2009 in Elizabeth City NC. It culminated in late fall 2009 in a farmhouse in Orangeville, PA. I am proud of this record and believe that it represents where I am musically. This is an album - not a collection of singles. It is meant to be listened to from top to bottom without pause. Sometimes, the silence between tracks - or lack of it - is as important as what follows. This record tells a story, but the story it tells is up to you, the listener. I hope you enjoy listening to this as much as I enjoyed making it.
